This is a personal portfolio. It has no accounts, no ads and no cookies. The only things you can send me are postcards and notes on Crit.
What is counted
Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics: which page was opened, the referring site, the country, and the kind of device and browser. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you to other sites. Visits are counted in aggregate only.
What you send
- Postcards go to me and nobody else. I keep the name and message you write, the photo and stamp you picked, and the city and country you sent it from.
- Notes on Crit are anonymous, and anyone visiting can read them. I keep the note and where you pinned it.
- To stop spam, both are checked for abuse, and I keep a scrambled code made from your connection so one person can’t send hundreds. The code can’t be turned back into your IP address.
The visitor map
The map in Visitors shows the cities people visit from. For each city I keep its name, country, an approximate point on the map (to about 10 km), a count and when it was last seen. Nothing about you personally.
What stays on your computer
- Your settings on the desktop (accent, desktop pattern, sound, icon positions) are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. Clear your site data to remove them.
- Photos you develop in Darkroom and drawings in Paint are processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Other sites
Fonts load from Google Fonts and the 3D engine from jsDelivr. Those services see your IP address when they send the files, as any web server does. Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, Behance, GitHub and the Toolkit take you to sites with their own policies.
